Wow, November flew by. This past month seriously felt like it went by in one week. I’ve been really busy, but not too busy to spend a few minutes a day buying and selling options. My November options income was less than the previous two months, but I still cracked the $1,000 mark.
November Options Income
In November, I had 14 options contracts closed or called away. 1 contract was called away and I bought to close 13 contracts. My November options income total is $1,347.60. This is my take home, realized income. It’s the amount of money I earned after trading and transaction fees, losses from closed contracts, and any other miscellaneous costs. The breakdown of income and expenses, is as follows:
- Total Revenue: $1,502.00
- Losses: $0.00
- Fees: -$154.40
- Net Revenue: $1,347.60
Closed November Option Income And Contracts
The options tracker below, shows all 14 transactions. All contracts are closed and were closed in the month of November.
13 contracts were profitably closed. 1 contract (CPA) was assigned. I earned option premium income of $290.29 for this trade, but the overall transaction was a loss. I’ll write about this loss in detail with my November dividend income post over at Investment Hunting.
I have 9 open contracts. 4 of these contracts expire in December. If I let these expire, I stand to make $388.54 before the end of the year. Total available income of my open contracts is potentially $2,464.15.
November Options Income and Annual Options Income
November 2016 was much better to me than November 2015. Last year I lost $823.26. Fast forward 1-year, and I had a $2,170.86 income swing. I’ve also surpassed last year’s total options income. The image below shows that I’ve earned $4,212.58 this year. This is a $303.24 increase over 2015. I expect to make at least $800 in December. I’m projecting $5,000 in 2016 options income.
